GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PAYMENT POLICY
Reservation due 45 days before the start of the tour.

Payment:

- 40% of the tour price at the time of reservation,
- balance of the tour price is due 14 days before the start of the tour.

Payment methods:

- By bank transfer - after reservation confirmation, we will send you an e-mail containing all information needed for payment
- Credit cards : Amex, Master, Visa - We will send you a short reservation form in word format. We need you to print the form, fill it in and foreward it on our agencies fax number. By filling out the reservation form you authorize the agency RB travel d.o.o. to charge you the price of the tour.

Travel documents:

- upon paying the advance, we will send you a confirmation note and invoice by e-mail
- upon paying the balance of the price, we will send you a voucher and invoice via e-mail

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR USERS OF TOURISM PACKAGES
"General terms and conditions" are an integral part of every programme organized by "RB travel". This agreement regulates the mutual relationship between the tour-operator and the traveller who books the chosen arrangement, and guarantees the implemantation of the described contents of the programme, except due to circumstances beyond one's control ( war, disorder, strike, terrorist actions, sanitary disorders, natural disasters, interventions of public authorities, delays of aeroplanes and other transport means etc.). In cases when a note different from the provisions of this agreement is published in a programme, the note published in the programme applies.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
A customer can book a tourism package arranged by RB Travel in our office and in other authorized agencies, as well as by telephone, telefax and other electronic means. When making a reservation the user of the tourism package signes an " Organized travel Contract ". By signing the "Contract" with the "I accept" clause the customer complies with the tourism package agreed upon, the General Terms and Conditions, as well as with the offered insurance policy, and entirely accepts these conditions. A deposit of 40% of the package is required at the time of your booking. The balance is due 14 days before the tour commencment stated in the "Contract". SKI packages make an exception,where the balance is to be paid by the 01.12. of the current year.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In case you are obliged to cancel the reservation, please do so in writting at the selling place where you have made your reservation and have given your advance-money. The cancellation date is the basis for the settlement of accounts, as follows:
- up to 30 days prior to the departure, 10% of the package price, at least per booking 100,00kn,
- 29-22 days prior to the departure, 25% of the package price,
- 21-15 days prior to the departure 40% of the package price,
- 14-8 days prior to the departure 80% of the package price,
- 7-0 days prior to the departure 100% of the package price.
If you do not make a cancellation in the stated terms or leave for your journey, no refund will be possible.
SKI packages make an exception, where cancellations made after the 01.12. of the current year are subject to payment of 90% of the full package price.
PACKAGE PRICES
Prices of the arrangements are quoted in croatian currency (Kuna) or in EURO for every programme and are valid from the day of the publication of the programme. RB travel may change the published prices in cases when the prices of the services change, or due to circumstances beyond one's control ( currency exchange, change of transport costs etc.) and shell inform the customer of such changes in due time. Customer's consent is not needed if the price increases for less than 10% . If the price increases over 10% , the customer may withdraw from the contract without having to pay penalties.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Programme prices do not include travel insurance.In compliance with the law regulating the bussiness of tour operators, at the signing of the "Contract" the customer shell be offered a travel insurance policy. Information on the travel insurance package ( health, baggage, consequences of accident and illness,risk of cancellation) will be provided in the agency. We reccomend the travel insurance package of the insurance company Allianz Zagreb d.d. ; it is neccessary to subjoin names and surnames of the persons for whom the policies are being made, as well as their dates of birth.N.B.: this regulation is valid only for croatian citizens.
RIGHT OF CANCELLATION OF THE TOUR OPERATOR
In compliance with the laws in action, "RB travel" retains the right to cancel the programme at least 5 days before the fixed departure in case there are not enough reservations under conditions stated in each individual programme .The tour operator may as well cancel the programme fully or partialy if before, or during its realization, unforseeable circumstances occur, which cannot be avoided nor resolved, and which if were present at the time of the publication and selling of the programme would be a justified reason for the cancellation of the programme by the tour operator.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE TOUR OPERATOR
The tour operator is obliged to take care about providing of services as well as for the choice of the service providers with the care of a good businessman and to take care of the rights and interests of the customer in compliance with good practices in tourism. The tour operator is obliged to provide the customer all the contracted services and to provide answers in case of eventual failure to perform services or part of the services. The tour operator is relieved of any responsability in cases of any changes or failure to perform services because of unforseeable circumstances, which could not be avoided nor resolved. The tour operator does not take responsability for damages caused because of the changing of programms or arrival and departure times of public transport means, nor for the delay caused by the adjourned public transport services. The tour operator is not obliged to pay off any damages for services that were not provided because of the customer's fault.
WARRANTY
The tour operator "RB travel" tourist agency, has taken out a policy at Allianz Zagreb d.d.,for the insurace of travel packages arrangements No 1550-6900673. In case of the tour operator's insolvency or bankruptcy the customer has to contact the insurance company Allianz d.d. Zagreb, phone 01/3670 367, fax 01/3670 355, in the shortest possible time and provide evidence of payment for the travel package.
CUSTOMER'S OBLIGATIONS
When making a reservation, the customer has to provide data and documents neccessary for the organization of the travel package to the tour operator. The customer is obliged to take care of his personal documents and possessions, and to take care in person that his documents and baggage fulfill the conditions underlined by customs, health and other administrative regulations of his country, as well as of the regulations of his destination country. The customer is obliged to observe the house rules in hotels and other facilities, as well as to cooperate with the representative of the tour operator, the tour guide and the service provider in good faith. The customer shell be personally responsible for any damage arisen as the consequence of failure to observe these provisions. If the customer should not be able to travel because of non fulfilling customs regulations, he should pay for all costs for his home journey and all unused arranged service expences . The customer is responsable for any damages caused to the tour operator by spreading lies which could hurt the reputation and honour of the tour operator.
COMPLAINTS
The customer has to be introduced with the contents of the programme. If the services stated in the programme are incomplete or published under standard quality, the customer has to contact the tour operator's represetative who should try to solve the problem or hand over to the customer a written receipt in order to acknoledge the complaint. Eight days after the end of the arrangement the customer has to deliver the written receipt signed by the represetative or the hotel's management to the sales department where he had payed for the arrangement. The maximum amount of compensation cannot exceed the cost of the tour package.
Oral information given at the sales department does not bind the tour operator more than the information given in the published programme of the tour package.
